The hotel had its charm with a connecting room, but the space was somewhat cramped. Despite this, the room was quiet and pleasant, making it a cozy stay. The service was top-notch, with extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The central location was ideal for exploring the town on foot, close to restaurants and shops. The dining experience could have been improved with an earlier start for breakfast, but the homemade Belgian waffles were a delightful touch.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms, although small, were cozy and super convenient to the heart of Steamboat Springs. However, the room size and bathroom could use some improvement. The hotel does require a credit card at check-in and a large reservation deposit with penalties for cancellations, which was a downside. It's worth noting that the hotel is old, built back in 1948, so it has that vintage charm.

The location couldn't have been better! It's right in the center of town, within easy walking distance of all the shops and restaurants, and close to the free bus stop to ride up to the ski base.

While dining wasn't a top priority for us, it would have been nice to have more options. Breakfast only started at 8:00, which meant we had to find alternative places to eat if we wanted to catch the gondola early.
