Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had its charm with a connecting room, but the space was somewhat cramped. Despite this, the room was quiet and pleasant, making it a cozy stay. The service was top-notch, with extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The central location was ideal for exploring the town on foot, close to restaurants and shops. The dining experience could have been improved with an earlier start for breakfast, but the homemade Belgian waffles were a delightful touch.
The hotel has a convenient location right in the heart of downtown, making it easy to access shops and restaurants, but the rooms are quite small and not fully serviced daily. Bill payment at check-in along with high reservation deposits and cancellation penalties can be cumbersome. The hotel has a historic charm as it was built in 1948.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms, although small, were cozy and super convenient to the heart of Steamboat Springs. However, the room size and bathroom could use some improvement. The hotel does require a credit card at check-in and a large reservation deposit with penalties for cancellations, which was a downside. It's worth noting that the hotel is old, built back in 1948, so it has that vintage charm.
